The idea of ‘poetry’ surpasses more than just words.
Often, for me, it reaches into other artistic avenues and mediums.
The picture above reminded me of the contributing poet Charlotte Cuevas – when you
read her poetry, even without knowing her personally, you can feel her struggle for normality
in the midst of several life trials. I see the woman above as Charlotte and the
heavy strands of fabric a mix of her poetry and her trials wrapped
tight and pulling at her from all directions at once.
