Sometimes Change is Good

For some of us the idea of something new, of “change”, is good. Heck, when I was a kid I rarely lived in one house for more than 2 years – my mother was “young and wild” and some part of her sought out change in a very physical way.

I would often find the living room furniture rearranged or my bedroom for that matter! I don’t know if she got bored or if it’s just an innate sense of wonder… she doesn’t move around anymore but she does have a habit of tearing down walls, building new ones and yes… rearranging the furniture in every room of her cottage home 😉

That being said, it’s time for me to do a little bit of restructuring with Infinite Pathways and I wanted to let you know exactly what to expect (since I was often surprised when I came home from school to find that my room had been rearranged or that we were moving again – IP isn’t moving by the way)…

My usual format for posting Monday – Friday with the occasional weekend will be modified to:

Monday – Editing Tips

Thursday – Publicity Tips

Weekend – More Focus on Author Interviews/Book Spotlights/Book Reviews

I will post (or re-blog) poetry, writerly rants, fiction excerpts, and notables (quotes we chat about) when I am able to but it won’t be on a regularly scheduled basis anymore.

I’m in the middle of restructuring my home and work life as well as my personal writing life and I’ve found that I need a little more elbow room – as well as the ability to give myself permission to not post on IP almost every single day of the week.

I love you guys, don’t get me wrong, but this site is all about authors working to help each other and I’ve been carrying the bulk of the responsibility these last years to make sure other voices are being heard.

That being said, if you’d like to do a guest post on any of the topics (including editing!) my door is always open.

If you’re interested in hiring me as an editor, please note that my service options will be changing in the coming weeks – but I highly encourage you to reach out and contact me for a quote 😀

In case you’re interested, my author website is http://mjmoores.com. I write stories of adventure and self-discovery with a focus on journey’s of a lifetime. My current series is a Sci-Fi/Fantasy called The Chronicles of Xannia suited to readers 16+ with book 2 coming out at the end of this summer.

I wish you all the best in your life and writing endeavors and hope to see you back here each week for more tips and writing exploration!

All the best,

M.J. Moores, OCT. Author. Editor.
