Publicity Tip #111 ~
We all know that the covers of our books help sell them. Forget about all that ethical human-sensitivity blather that has nothing to do with sales – people pay attention to what something looks like. If it’s less than perfect or not what they expected, it will be returned to the store ASAP with a demand for money back.
You don’t want that to happen to your books.
You give your audience an eye-catching professional looking cover and promise a fantastic story – they open the book or turn on their e-reader and BAM! They have a hard time following the story because of poor formatting. Don’t let this happen to you.
If you have the where-with-all to format your own interior that’s fantastic. But not everyone does. Today, I wanted to take a moment to let you know about my own interior book formatter: Knite and Day Design. Therin Knite is new on the scene but her work is phenomenal.
I know, I’m gushing.
But it’s hard to find a quality crafts-person who actually enjoys working on these types of issues for books.
AND
She’s having a holiday sale right now. So, if you’re looking for a good deal on a great interior design, I highly suggest you pop on over and check her out. You won’t be disappointed 😉
