Announcing the Winners of the IP Flash Fiction Contest

And the Winners Are…

The first annual Short Fiction Creative Writing Contest held by Infinite Pathways was a success! Of all the entries received Contest Judge Patricia Miller and I (M.J. Moores, site Director, Teacher, & Author) worked diligently to find the most deserving submissions. While we were both impressed with the level of writing prowess, three winners did emerge with two honourable mentions:

1st Place – Cheryl MacLean with Talking to Teddy Under the Covers

2nd Place – Elizabeth Girard with The Open Heart

3rd Place – Erika Willaert with Absence

1st Honourable – Nancy Thorne with The Decision

2nd Honourable – Corrie Adams with The Nature of Infection

Infinite Pathways would like to thank everyone who participated in the contest. A special and warm thanks is extended to our guest judge Patricia Miller for taking time out of her busy schedule to pour over and assess each of our entries.

Winners and Honourable Mentions will be contacted by the end of the day on Sunday February 23rd. The winning pieces will be published in an Anthology of Creative Works by Infinite Pathways Press in 2015.

Creative Critiques will be sent out over the course of this week (Feb. 24th – 28th).
