Author Spotlight – Jan Marie

Behind the Scenes with Fantasy Author Jan Marie

Writing the book was crazy considering it was first written to be a graphic novel. I then changed it ALL over to be a book. I sort of became obsessed-crazy-writing-Mommy to my oldest son who was 3 at the time. Mommy often burnt dinner too because, but when your characters talk you listen!

I love my characters in that they are angels, and they are not perfect. Even their creator has some flaws. He could have handled some things a little better. I also like how love is treated by the angels. They love unconditionally even though they’ve been betrayed or stabbed in the back. They don’t know why they love each other. Sometimes they wish they didn’t. I think that is what true pure love is. There is no rhythm or reason as to why you love someone, you just do.

In a Angelic Confessions - Jan Marieworld where the Father created all I was born…an angel. A new breed I was meant to overthrow the children of heaven. To prevent this I was taken, and raised as Father’s own. My memories wiped, the dark beast inside me caged. Memories never stay buried though…

  2. I love this spotlight you have on Jan. It really shows the thinking process behind the writing involved in her novella Angelic Confessions. 🙂
