The website Awesomegang is a great budget conscious resource for publicizing yourself and your book. Their newsletter goes out to over 4,600 readers, they have a huge twitter following and a fantastic facebook resource among other social media options for spreading the word.

They have FREE publicity:

Place your book (yourself) on their facebook page & G+ page

Access a list of 12 other free publicity sites

And PAID Publicity:

$10 will get you a two-day feature on their home page, a prominent spot in their newsletter, links to your book on all of their social media accounts (over 10,600 twitter followers), and promoting on their facebook fan page (42,000+ likes) as well as access to all of the benefits of the free publicity – including a directory listing on their website.

You won’t be wasting your time with Awesomegang either as they have a very good alexa.com rating globally. This is one of those “bonus” sites we authors stumble upon and thank our lucky stars for finding something so reasonable that actually has an impact on the world of readers.
